Counselor

Hello! My name is Yazmeen Lopez, and I’m excited to join the Crestview Elementary team as the school counselor. Before stepping into this role, I taught 3rd grade ELAR for seven years and have spent the past two years working as a school counselor.

Building strong relationships with students and staff is very important to me, and I strive to create an environment that feels safe, welcoming, and supportive for all.

In my free time, I enjoy camping around Texas with my husband and pursuing creative outlets like reading, embroidery, and exploring different forms of art.

I’m looking forward to an exciting school year ahead—I know that together, we’ll accomplish great things!
